Lynn University President, Dr. Kevin Ross, graciously invited Carey O'Donnell to an amazing evening with Sir Ken Robinson, one of the world's preeminent thought leaders on education and creativity. You can find his talks on TED, where he's reached upwards of 150 million minds. Ten minutes with Sir Ken will change your thinking about quite a lot of conventional wisdom. Carey O'Donnell moderates a panel of Palm Beach County university presidents who discussed the key issues facing higher education today. The panel was convened by the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County in December 2012. Carey O'Donnell recounts the many accolades from US and German dignitaries who attended the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the $64 million Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience to Dr. Peter Gruss, President of Germany's Max Planck Society, and Kelly Smallridge, President of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. In the background is Dr. David Fitzpatrick, Scientific Director and CEO of the new Institute located adjacent to Scripps Florida in Jupiter. Jennifer Sullivan, Cassady Faircloth, Dana Lutz and Carey O'Donnell attended the annual Raise The Bar event at the 1916 County Courthouse, hosted by the Women's Foundation of Palm Beach County. The Agency has introduced a new internship program designed to identify and nurture high school students who have the academic credentials and leadership characteristics that provide an advantage in the world of professional public relations and communications. The program is specially designed to assist students from low-income households with these attributes peek inside the real world of marketing and PR. Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce head Barry E. Johnson chat with Carey O'Donnell, while Chamber board chair Penny Shaffer connects with Gunster's Kevin Levy, who introduced the O'Donnell Agency as a new member of the Miami Chamber's Board of Trustees.
